When Shooting Video ...
- Rule #1: Be extremely CAREFUL with my camera!
- Make sure not to move the camera around too much (this will make your audience feel “seasick”). Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart and keep your elbows locked at a constant angle (put them against your body for added stability). When possible, use a tripod or put the camera on a desk or shelf.
- Only shoot what you need. Video files take up A LOT of space on a computer, so we won’t have room for unnecessary footage. Make sure to PAUSE the camera between shots!
- When you are done shooting, make sure to see me so I can show you how to transfer the video to the computer.
- Take the time to
LOG your video so you don't have to go through it again and again to remmeber what footage you have.
